Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") defines the rules for using the OpSystem platform. It exists to protect all users and ensure the service remains reliable, secure, and lawful for everyone.

2. Permitted Use

OpSystem is designed for legitimate business operations. You may use it to:

• Manage clients, jobs, invoices, and business operations
• Communicate with your clients and team through authorized channels
• Store business documents, photos, and records in your vault
• Use AI features to assist with business tasks
• Automate follow-ups, reminders, and notifications to your own contacts

3. Prohibited Use

You may not use OpSystem to:

• Send spam or unsolicited messages to people who have not opted in to receive communications from your business
• Violate CAN-SPAM, TCPA, or GDPR regulations regarding electronic communications
• Store illegal content including but not limited to pirated software, illegal imagery, or stolen data
• Attempt to access other vaults or any data belonging to other OpSystem customers
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy the OpSystem platform or its AI capabilities
• Use the platform for harassment, discrimination, or threats
• Resell or sublicense access to OpSystem without written authorization
• Overload the system with automated requests, scripts, or bots that exceed normal business usage
• Circumvent security controls including rate limits, authentication, or permission restrictions
• Store sensitive regulated data (HIPAA-protected health data, classified government data, or PCI cardholder data beyond what is necessary for normal billing)

4. Communication Rules

OpSystem enables automated SMS and email communications via bots. When using these features, you must:

• Only contact people who have a prior business relationship with you
• Honor opt-out requests immediately (STOP for SMS, unsubscribe for email)
• Include your business identity in all automated messages
• Limit automated messages to 2 per client per day (enforced by the platform)
• Never use the platform to send deceptive or misleading communications

5. AI Usage

When using OpSystem's AI features:

• You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated content before sending to clients
• Do not attempt to manipulate the AI to produce harmful, illegal, or deceptive content
• AI-generated estimates, invoices, and financial calculations should be verified by a human
• Do not use AI features to generate content that impersonates another person or business

6. Data Responsibility

You are the data controller for all information stored in your vault. You are responsible for ensuring that you have appropriate consent or legal basis to store personal data about your clients, employees, and contacts. OpSystem processes this data on your behalf as a data processor.

7. Enforcement

Violations of this policy may result in:

• Warning notification with details of the violation
• Temporary suspension of automated messaging capabilities
• Account suspension pending review
• Account termination for severe or repeated violations

We will always attempt to contact you before taking action, except in cases that pose an immediate risk to other users or legal compliance.

8. Reporting Violations

If you believe another user is violating this policy, or if you receive unwanted communications from an OpSystem user, contact us at abuse@opsystem.ai

9. Changes

We may update this policy with 30 days' notice via email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
